Carmel Technology College
Details:
Carmel RC College, a Specialist Technology and Vocational College, is a mixed school providing education to 1,100 11-18 year olds of diverse ethnicity and academic ability. Consistently achieving good levels of attainment, in 2005, Carmel moved on to implement TALMOS from Core in order to spread good practice and enhance teachers’ continuing professional development.


Green Lane Primary School
Details:
Green Lane Primary School is a large Bradford Primary School with 650 students. The school opened its doors on 5th January 1903. It was a State of the Art School with a cookery centre, swimming baths and a laundry. The first Head of Green Lane was the father of the (later) famous writer and broadcaster J B Priestley.




Hummersknott School and Language College

Hummersknott, situated in the south-west outskirts of Darlington, is a successful and thriving Community School. Academic progress is good, with results well above national and local averages. Longfield School
Details:
Longfield is a 900+ school in Northern England with specialist status in PE achieved in 2004. Before the current Principal took over in 2003, exam results were at 38% grades C and above. The current Head when appointed, considered the use of ICT to be the way forward and with less than 60 machines in school, 6 ICT suites were developed and 100 hours a week of bookable time. The school has now gained the NACE Charter Mark and the Northern Grid and BECTA Whole School Use of ICT Excellence Award.


Shropshire County Council
Details:
Shropshire Local Authority required a system to enable teachers to collaborate, share best practice and deliver engaging content rich lessons, whilst reducing lesson planning time. The requirement was to provide functionality and suitable interfaces for students of all ages as well as teaching staff and other stakeholders, enabling staff to simply allocate work and resources such as lesson plans, learner objectives and digital content.
